Saw a Sporting game in KC a few years ago. My default team. Until they get to a promotion & relegation format, I’ll keep my interests mainly in England.

It is though good to see the meaningless mls season be meaningful with this tournament.

Happy Birthday, Frank!!!

G'day all.

Headed to Nashville to meet the youngest daughter's fiancé's parents, YEEHAW! Also get to build a wedding arch from PVC, they will have to sand and spray it with some copper colored paint. Gotta cut 5 sticks of it so it will fit in the CR-V to get it there, I can have it built in ten minutes after we get there, hehe.

DON'T be BAD!

Humidity is brutal already at 0830.

Thermometers saying 80 but it sure feels like a lot more. Sweating buckets and nothing evaporates.

I reinstalled the toolbox on my truck since it doesn't look like I'm buying a new one any time soon. Not terribly physically taxing, weighs maybe 100lbs with some things still in there but I'm drenched in sweat. Went inside, thermostat is set at 78 and it feels so much cooler.

Back out to the garage for cigar and already dripping again.

I love the heat, ill take 80-90 anytime but these excessively humid days suck almost as much as a winter day.

Went to my buddy's brewery for a few beers.

Coworker last night was asking about a Belgian Flanders ale they make, used to be very hard to get but they've made it semi regular production. Still small batches and no distribution plus bottle limit but it's some good stuff. The first couple years it was a once a year release and I'd stand in line to get my 4 bottle limit and split it with him.

He also needed to borrow some of my auto A/C service tools so I told him I'd go out for a few drinks tonight and stop at work on my way home. They had 7 bottles left in the cooler so I bought 5.

So humid and sweaty out. Setup the sprinklers out back, 100 and 150ft out. I know cuzza the hoses I used.

That little bit of work soaked my clothes.

hey all, thanks.

knowing I might struggle today, I had the wisdom to order a take out medium rare 22oz ribeye dinner from a local pub with a very good from scratch kitchen last night.
It was fooooking amazing!

Nearly perfect beach day today at the Jewish Riviera.

Lot's of stuff pulling at me, like many other people, but it's over now.
Not enough left in the tank to do the vherf though. Sorry.

Introduced in 1984 and sold individually or in boxes of 10, each one was about 10 times the size of a regular Oreo, or seemed that way at least. Each one contained 316 calories and 13 grams of fat, and was way too big for a kid to eat in one sitting (or to dunk into a glass of milk). It never really found its footing, and was discontinued in 1991.

Hot outside. Pool water is a refreshing 88F.
The wife informed me today that we are getting a new dishwasher this week, but she hasn't decided which one or who to buy it from. I asked her why she waited so long since the current on is over ten years old and is not working well. She didn't like that. Says I was being a smart-@ass. I don't disagree.Herfing

You sure "I'm getting a new dishwasher" wasn't code for "you're moving out"?

Beautiful cool early morning weather for a walk at the mountain house. After that we are headed back to the valley where it's going to be about 112.

Big storms came through all morning. Some close lightning strikes too, super loud. Still raining with distant constant rumbling thunder

Its probably hot n humid but I've not been outside.
