Vanilla- multigrain ones with a melty pat of real butter and waaarrrmmmm real maple syrup mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!! If you pour too much syrup to mop up with your pancakes, you can drizzle it over vanilla bean ice cream!

Maple ain't the only thing to put on a pancake, friend! Sounds like they'd ROCK with huckleberry (or blueberry if you can't get the good stuff) or strawberry or pineapple syrup... almost any fruit syrup. Probably apricot, too, but I don't like apricot ANYTHING, so I couldn't say.

You're right, though - hard to go wrong with macadamias, whatever the presentation!

Pancakes are also excellent with a good sized blob of blueberry preserves on top instead of maple syrup. ThumpUp

We had a huuuuuuuge strawberry patch when I was a kid - our favorite breakfast was pancakes with sliced strawberries and a blob of fresh whipped cream!

This morning was banana/macadamia pancakes with maple syrup, was really good. The pineapple and coconut ones usually get coconut syrup. Good thing we're not diabetic.
