Rick, I confess, I had to go look up the word to ensure I hadn't misspoken before I responded :) My BP is fairly stable, thank you LOL As to another of your predictions, Iran is a likely candidate, but if W. thinks (as I do) that N. Korea is a more urgent threat, the NK's have no oil reserves. If He decides to work on one part of the world at a time, there are alot of Al Quada and Taliban honchos that are believed to have fled to Iran. Considering that we have them almost surrounded to the east, west, and have miles of coastline we could invade, you'ld think they would be more circumspect. In an overview of the whole situation, Putin, the President of Russia said in the aftermath of 9-11 that Russia had no knowledge of the attack and believed that it warranted the MOST VIGOUS RESPONSE (emphasis mine) This from the leader of a country which has been known on several occaisions to shoot down airliners for simply straying over thier airspace. Many world leaders seem to have figured that since we didn't immediately nuke somebody over the attack, we should just forget about it. Iraq had a military camp south of Baghdad where there was a derilict airliner fusalage that was purportedly used for training personnel in aircraft takeover techniques. It may have been used for anti-terrorism training, but former Iraqi military personnel have been quoted as saying that the people being trained there were not Iraqi, and were kept separate from the regular military personnel. And yet we quibble over the fact we can't find a picture of Saddam signing any formal agreement with Bin Laden. We carp because we haven't found warheads laden with nerve gas, even though there have been countless reports of "precursors" of nerve gas found, but the same ingredients can also be used to make insecticide. I think the Bush administration has shown amazing restraint in dealing with many of the counties that have been known to harbor terrorists. I think the fight will go on for years (gee, that's what W. told us before the end of 2001!) Predicting that we will go to war with someone who has massive oil reserves is almost a no-brainer, but there IS that NK option. Why make it sound like the oil is the reason?
