With all the comments I recieved about my handle in a previous thread I am thinking of changing it. What do ya'll think about the handle "Bubba"? Not as 'Country' as Redneck but still manly and easier to spell! To keep this thread cigar related I stopped by to see if there were any Backwoods Smokes to bid on but couldn't find any! Had to bid on LGC's instead. Have to agree with Charlie, those Wavell are a nice smoke. Mike

I lived in Georgia for half a century, so I think I know a thing or two about rednecks and Bubbas. LOL. Pick a different handle - the necks and Bubbas I knew smoked Marlboros and all other tobacco products were either chewed or placed between the cheek and gum.

Yeah, but what's the law in Georgia when you get divorced? Are you still legally cousins?...

It's all in the family! No arguments as to where to spend the Holidays but naming the chidren might cause havoc!

By golly I have. Got an appointment to have it cleaned the 14th!! Want to hear a couple of 'Good-ol'-Boys' (Billy and Bubba) on a Ferule Afghni Hunt? They are on 'The Huntin Channel' at the link I am adding. On Ferule Afghani Hunt IV Bubba gets to use Billy's gun - the Taliwhacker! http://www.rock103.com/america/ see #14 to #17.

Being a Southerner stuck in California for last 20 years I sort of miss some of the good old boy nicknames such as "Cooter", "Booger Red", "Hawg", "Rooster", "Coondog" and Bubba to name a few! And of course there is my favorite, "Gator"! No matter which you choose, have a good cigar and think it over for a while, but might as well stick to Redneck! Charlie

Thanks JJ. I've been a silent participant here for some time. Figured I can hold my own and it's time to come out of the closet. I took Charlies advice, had a cigar and thought about my handle. Redneck it will be!!! Now on those nicknames that he was also talking about. My wife is red on the head. When we lived in Texas we had this, er a, redneck friend that called her 'Booger Red'!!! Go figure!!!! Mike

One of the major traits of a good solid redneck is the inability to be able to spell........How about it Jim? Charlie

Try the maduros. I stocked up on them this last summer. If you age them for about six months they are even better.

Originaly from South Dakota Charlie, don't remeber what would call people from up there.Grandfather on one side was a Farmer on the other,He farmed a while and then became a big time insurace salesman(Big time for up there anyways,LOL).I had the most fun hangin out with Farm/Grandpa.So yeah I fit right in with quite a bit of the redneck profile.LOL
