He's referring to conservatives or people who will vote for Bush. We’ll see who wins in November…

The MAJORITY of voters disapprove of the job Mr. Bush is doing, thus the MINORITY approve. The MINORITY is well represented here and likes to think the rest of the country is in their corner.......they aren't.

Also, don't believe anything you hear from ABC news. They are partial, slanted and bias... I won't watch their broadcasts any longer.

Robby, you are very right on media bias, but Bush's approval ratings are very very similar across most poles.

So if I do not approve of all Bush is doing but I firmly believe that he is a better choice than Kerry am I in the minority or the majority?

one more, what makes you think that the American public will not vote for Bush even if they disapprove at this time?

Approval rating does not necessary = voting stance.

I agree, a lot of his numbers are in the crapper, but they fluctuate and it will be interesting to see where they are in November. I'm interested to see how the upcoming terror attack will play out politically. It's a foregone conclusion that they'll hit us. It stands to reason that they'll do it before the election like they did in Spain. I'm wondering if it will galvanize support behind Bush, or if people will blame him and vote Kerry in. It will be interesting...

valid point, Tony. But, it is the best forecast there is.......proof is in the pudd'n and Kerry hasn't technically screwed up yet.

A couple of points here. Right now, polls are all over the lot. Partisans of either Kerry or Bush can find validation anywhere. For example, the lastest Harris poll has Bush up 51 to 41 over Kerry.

Second, as Gore found out, we don't elect the President by popular vote. We have yet to see any good polls on who is ahead in the Electoral College.

Finally, Sonny, it must sadden you to know that Louisiana is considered a safe red state for Bush, as it never gets mentioned as a "battleground" state. With tongue firmly in cheek, what do the rest of us know in Louisiana that you don't?

Sonny,

That last post was a little harsh! Does this mean that if I support Bush that I am ignorant.................guess so!
