"I never thougth I'd see the day a president stutter"
I seen that also, a few times... this is where I pointed out I think they both lied about their personal feelings towards one another... Bush a few times looked like he wanted to Stomp a mudhole in Kerry's A$$....
but on to answer your question....
Kerry didn't have a consistency on his position on Iraq
in the beginning of the debate he he aknowledged Saddam was a theat later through the debate he tried to explain away that Saddam wasn't a threat (the) threat...
I don't know if anyone caught this other then myself..
Kerry Also pointed out in the Beggining (Poor Soldiers, he talked to many of their parents who were buying their sons/daughters their own gear and sending it to them as early christmas presents HE HE HA HA Laughs) he then later slammed Bush for now going to Congress and asking for the 4.7 billion dollars release for upgrading equipment for the troops, he also tried to spin this one request as for more training for the Iraqi security...(American People are busy in their lives and many do not get a chance to see what or where this money's is going) so they here (in a radio or TV add) some jackwad say well he's doing this or that with your money and not doing this or that with it.. this sticks in their head.. Bush is F**kin US!!!
Here's a little tidbit of info straight from the Commander in the Field of both Operations... it shows Kerry lied and is Lying about the Intel Reports (That Bush Points out, Kerry Also reads the same reports)
Gen. Tommy Franks
Zeroing in on John Kerry's description of the Iraq war during Thursday night's debate as a "grand diversion" to the real war on terror, former CENTCOM commander Gen. Tommy Franks complained:
"I would find it very difficult to look in the eyes of an ally or to look in the eyes of a mom or a dad and describe what their sons and daughters are going through as a 'grand diversion.'"
"That bothered me, yes it did," Gen. Franks told the Fox News Channel.
Franks said Kerry's position - that the war was wrong in the first place but now must be won - sends a confusing message the troops on the ground.
"You've got to respect the troops. You've got to believe in your heart that what you're doing, if you're going to fight a war for the United States of America, is precisely right at precisely the right time.
"And so the Senator's comments give me a little problem."
Gen. Franks also took issue with Kerry's claim that troops and equipment from the Afghan war were diverted to Iraq.
"The fact of the matter is that I was responsible for both Afghanistan and Iraq, he told Fox. "The numbers speak for themselves.
"The day we started operations in Iraq we had about 9,500 Americans operating in Afghanistan. That number, in fact, increased during operations in Iraq and continues to increase today."
"with Emphasis"
THE DAY WE STARTED OPERATIONS IN IRAQ WE HAD ABOUT 9,500 AMERICANS OPERATING IN AFGHANISTAN. THAT NUMBER,
IN "FACT", INCREASED DURING OPERATIONS IN IRAQ AND CONTINUES TO INCREASE TODAY....
NOW JOHN F KERRY WAS ON NATIONAL TV LAST NIGHTS DEBATES
AND LIED HIS ASS OFF TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE!!!!
and that wasn't the only time!!!!!!!!! and you all want this SOB as Commander and Chief LMMFAO!!!!!!!
another flip flop.... lehrer asked Kerry point blank.. "New question, Senator Kerry. Two minutes. You've repeatedly accused President Bush, not here tonight but elsewhere before, of not telling the truth about Iraq. Essentially, of lying to the American people about Iraq. Give us some examples of what you consider to be his not telling the truth." SEN. KERRY: "Well, I've never, ever used the harshest word as you just did."
BUT IN DECEMBER 2003, KERRY TOLD NEW HAMPSHIRE EDITORIAL BOARD BUSH "LIED" ABOUT REASON FOR GOING TO WAR IN IRAQ. "Kerry also told a New Hampshire newspaper editorial board Friday that Bush had 'lied' about his reasons for going to war in Iraq, a word Kerry has been reluctant to use publicly for months. Yesterday he said he did not plan to use the word again."
AND IN SEPTEMBER 2003, KERRY SAID BUSH ADMINISTRATION "LIED" AND "MISLED." "This administration has lied to us. They have misled us. And they have broken their promises to us. The president promised to the people and the Congress that he would build an international coalition, respect the United Nations' process and only go to war as a last resort. I will tell you that from my war fighting experience, I believe there is a test for a president as to how you go to war. And that test is whether or not you can look in the eyes of parents and say to them, 'I did everything possible to avoid the loss of your son and daughter, but we had no other choice in order to protect the security of our nation,' and I know this president fails that test in Iraq."
and Edwards has used the word all last week in his Campaining against Bush and Cheney...
So there is the Flip and Flop of John the Bab Tist Kerry!!!
I'm Sticking with Bush... at least his same resolve is the same thing he's said from the beginning!!!
Ya'll can have Kerry ;0)
