one of the big guys is a relative of mine?
what are you talking about?
rick, i do not know what your beliefs are. i doubt that you have studied the Bible more than i, but many have studied the Bible all of their lives and still refuse to believe. if you choose not to believe, that is entirely up to you---------a right afforded you by the constitution of the u.s.a. i could really care less what you think of me."narrow minded bigot". rick, if you study the Bible with the intent of picking it apart, it would be impossible for you to understand it, much less believe it. obviously you have not studied the Bible enough to know that it clearly states that the "things of God are spritually discerned". also, it is impossible for one to have the spirit of God indwelling them if they do not believe. therefore, you are wasting your time attempting to understand it. the Bible also states that prior to conversion, one is "dead in sins and trespasses". if then, according to the Bible, one is "dead in sins and trespasses" (spiritually dead, concerning the things of God), how do you suppose that they could understand or believe? rick, i believe that you may be the one who is actually more bigoted than anyone. you are most bigoted towards those who refuse to swallow your beliefs as you attempt to shove them down their throats. well sir, i will not have you attempting to sway me to believe anything that you say, just because you say it and in the name of "tolerance", "togetherness", and "acceptance". you can take your beliefs and do what you will with them but do not attempt to sway me with your accusations of bigotry and otherwise. i believe what i believe and you believe what you believe. it is a fudamental difference of beliefs that we have. i do not lose sleep over it as you obviously do. whatever you may be thinking, i do not have to accept your beliefs or opinions, or anything else for that matter. i did not nor do i expect you to believe waht i believe. as previously stated, it is a free country in which we live-not a "mandatory acceptance of everyone state". the fact that you believe what you do is just that, a fact. i, however, am not obliged to give you anything that i choose not too. honestly, it seems to me that if you were so secure in your beliefs, that you would not have to "ping" someone to try and draw them into a public forum and paint them as you see fit to try and justify yourself. i mean really rick, if you believe whatever, fine with me. i assume that everyone by now knows what i believe. if it is not fine with you, well, i hate it. that is why this country is so great, we do not have to believe any thing we do not want to nor do we have to accept anything we do not want to. we, of course, must ABIDE by the law but we do not have to accept it as morally right. again, that is an individual decision, not a group decision. i believe abortion to be an abomination and the most morally reprehensible act that i can think of at the moment. that does not mean that i can, by law, prevent someone else from having an abortion. i also believe, as i have stated in previous posts, that it is just as wrong for one to murder abortion clinic workersor patients. each of us has to have balance between the circumstances in which we find ourselves, and those things which we believe in our hearts to be true or right. the Bible affords us that right, as it clearly teaches that we should subject ourselves to the powers that be, under the law. but never does it teach us that we must believe that said law is correct or morally upright. i am completely comfortable in my position, both before God and before men. as for what you think or believe, it really does not matter to me because i refuse to let the beliefs of others that I may consider to be without a moral leg to stand on, influence the way in which i choose to live. that being said, do what you want, say whjat you want, believe what you want. I DO NOT CARE. youi are free to do as you please, within the law. if you should choose to step outside the law, that also is entirely up to you. the only acceptance i am obligated to give you is to realize that you are a citizen of this country as well as i, and that you are afforded the same rights as i under the law. but NOWHERE in the law of God or man is it stated or even implied, that i have to ACCEPT you or what you believe as being right-morally or otherwise. do what you will and i will do the same. i will continue to disregard your system of beliefs as merely reprobate, and, if you will, you may do the same with my beliefs. let me me say before i close, i am unsure of the EXACT nature of your beliefs. but i can see, as anyone could from your posts, that your beliefs are probably at the least diametrically opposed to mine at the core. while i think that you have told the truth concerning the past activities of pres. bush, i still remain confident that he is a far better choice than the alternative. so, i would say that we could be in agreement regarding some historical FACT, we remain opposed on other issues.
IS THAT CLOSED MINDED ENOUGH FOR YOU?
if not, let me know and i'll try to be even more closed minded next time.........
by the way, i admit that my statement concerning the fact that "i hate liberals" was false. i do not hate them as they do not enter my mind enough to be concerning except at election time. so i guess you could say that i used the word "hate" as an expression. maybe a bad one, but i remain firm in the fact that i utterly despise most liberal values and practices, such as abortion, etc.
