The New England Patriots just won their 19th consecutive game. An NFL record.
No team in the HISTORY of professional football in America has won more in a row.
They're still one game shy of the '33 Bears team for consecutive Regular Season games, but why separate the two? In fact, playoff games are typically more difficult to win, so they should count.

Happy days here in New England!

Belichick, Crennel & Weiss. . . . . best coaching staff in football. . . . . .

. . . although Brady going 7/19, 76 yds & an INT was kinda scary. . . . . . lets hope he's a little sharper next weekend. . .

Man they sure should have lost to the Colts.

They will never match Miami's perfect season.

Tony,
They "should have" lost to the Colts last season in Indy.
But they didn't.

They "should have" lost to the colts last season in foxboro for the AFC championship.
But they didn't.

They "should have" lost to the colts in this seasons' opener.
But they didn't.

Why should they have lost?
Because they made the plays when they had to ?

Why is Payton Manning something like 1-7 when facing the patriots?

The Colts have a daddy; and his name is Pat Patriot.

yeah yeah yeah

all I can say is the Colts pulled a KC and choked.

I have the Pats D and Graham in my fantasy league. So I do respect them.

That's nice.
You "respect" the team that kicked your teams ass virtually every time they meet.

Don't forget, the Colts have a different excuse EVERY time they lose.

They're running out of excuses because they've lost so often. Manning is the Patriots bitch. Plain and simple.

I like the Colts but they are not 'my team'. I think they are a better team than the Pats but they have not proved me to be correct.

The playoffs will tell.

Bassdude: lets not bring the dolphins into this. They are making history this year just like that Pats. But at the otherside of the scale for losses.

And yes I am a really dissappointed Miami fan at the moment, but the Pats gimme something to cheer for this year. How funny would it be if Miami kills the Pats Winning streak. Pipe dream I think

I hope miami has the chance to do it.
That'll mean the Pats keep winning until December 20th!

As a Pats fan I cannot believe I'm going to say this, but, I kinda feel sorry for the 'fins and their fans. . . their season was blown before it even started. . . at least they have a decent defense, although it would've helped if Jason Taylor actually showed up to play yesterday. . . .

. . . it really is painful to watch them, and I hope they don't allow Williams back. . . . he ruined all his teammates hopes this season, and now, all of a sudden he has an 8 million dollar change of heart. . .

HOW JIM ROME WOULD HANDLE IT:

Dear Dave,

I was just kidding about 6 weeks ago when I said I wanted to dump my hall of fame career, screw over my team mates, take my $8 mil signing bonus and retire, so I could smoke grass. It was all a big joke. Trick or treat. I'm really pumped and ready to play. I'm in great shape, I've been running from to the couch to the fridge and back at least 30 times a day, and I've put on about 40 pounds of solid muscle in my butt and abdomen. I've been lifting weights every day, 1 pound bacon sandwiches and Wendy's triple burgers and fries. They get pretty heavy you know.

But hey, I'm sure if you tell the guys it was all a big joke and that I'm not coming back just because I owe almost $9 million to the organization, they'll welcome me with open arms because they love me and I am the best running back ever.

I really want to play. Really. To prove it, I have even stopped smoking pot. As a matter of fact, just today. Oh and all my friends, I mean my friend, I mean my dope dealer has not really left me, he said he would be back when I had more money. Any way, Thanks Dave and...oh ya... I respect you. Ya, that's the ticket. I respect you. Call me.

Sincerely,
Ricky

They let Ricky back in and the offensive line will let him get pummeled.(which he really deserves worse) That and the security better be good around him cause he will probably get lynched by the fans. Hopefully I am sitting back on the couch tokin on a stogie when that happens.

At least after this crap season they can only go up from the botton.
