Universal medicare = people who don't like to prioritize their own responsibilities and leech it off the backs of others.

Just as the U.S. government can't correctly manage social security, they can't manage healthcare or any other financial entity for that matter.

Don't get it confused. Obama is really just trying to help his "brothers" and "sisters", who happen to already be on three completely broken forms of subsidization. Yep, the leeches sucked those funds dry too, now we just have to wait for their collapse.

So why am I being forced to pay for another irresponsible, delinquint's problems? That's right, because the government steals it from me to feed the cesspool of leeches they created, and if I avoid paying into the demonic system they have created, they go ahead and take my freedom. They want to create a new "fair" system that ultimately isn't fair...

Meanwhile all the legitimate folk get screwed, for the sake of feeding the leeches, though the leeches have already sucked this country dry. Let's all chip in to pay for their next slab of juicy meat.

WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT TO DENY MEDICAL COVERAGE
TO SOMEONE WHO IS SICK OR INJURED.

Who said anything about DENYING it? This is a question of who has to PAY for it? If we have to pay for it can we first do a full audit and find out what he spent his money on (see the food stamp/lotto winner thread) so that he couldn't afford his own insurance?

Happens all the time. Pre-existing condition? Denied or the insurance coverage costs are so high as to be unaffordable. Change rules so that the company can drop long time patients, yes, happens. Insurance companies do this all the time.

IMHO, we need the largest possible group, the entire country, to bring costs down. Reduce the overhead by getting rid of the profit margin needed for private companies, saves billions right there. Pay into one huge federal group and out of that one huge pot. amortization schedules and everything used for payments, employers contribute just as before, only it would be much, much cheaper.

potts,
It's difficult to take your points seriously when the bulk of your efforts go towards insulting your target.

Don't get me wrong. I am not innocent of tossing out a barb or two.
And I agree with the overall sentiment of your viewpoints.

But tone down the hostility.

Why?

He's a liar. He doesn't care if he spreads lies. And he's an idiot.

If you want to be friends with a liar and an idiot, be my guest, but please spare me the lectures. He's taken his fair share of pot-shots at me, my family, and others around here. And if he can dish it out, then he should be willing to take it right back.

Furthermore, if you push him far enough into a corner, he'll do the same to you - in a heartbeat.

So, I just don't bother with the pretense of civility with this trousersnake. If you want to give deference to a slimeball, that's your business. He isn't worth the effort. It's guys like Fuzz who run around bleeding out the eyeballs about "free speech," and they're usually the first in line making sure they shut down all discussion they don't like. If you doubt me, look at the people he affiliates with ideologically.

Plus, if you think this is hostile, then you should see me when I'm really p*ssed.

And teedubbya: if you weren't so ourrageously gay, I'd treat you in the same fashion. But, I have to be nice to the ladies...
