There is a MAJOR difference between the scenarios that you put out here, and an abortion. That major difference is that the people that went to Vietnam and Iraq had a choice to go or not to. I know that you will come back on this saying something about the draft, but they still had a choice. They could have draft dodged and moved to Canada or Mexico, so they still had a choice. A baby in an abortion has NO choice! They have no say in wether they live or die. So really, you are comparing apples and dog turds here, completely and utterly opposites on the spectrum.
Personally, there is no choice to make if it came up, the baby has a right to live, no matter what, just like you or I do. The doctors told my mother in law that she should abort my wife, and she is completely healthy. People told my parents that I should be aborted, they didn't listen, Thank God! It all just boils down to a moral compass that people have and wich way the needle swings!
Oh, and btw, this ignorance of history, is that the man made one, or the one that really hapened?
