Same thing with the debt, no big complaints last administration, or under any other Republican administration when the debts were piling up under W, Reagan, but now after the huge problem was created a D comes into office and it's immediatly a huge concern after W blew up the economy and put millions out of work with his economic polilcies.

For the sake of discussion lets say I agree with your above quote. But I can NOT agree with the PRESENT administration racking up and additional 1 trillion plus debt this year.

Repeal the "Bush tax cuts" and it'll generate what, maybe 50 billion or so dollars. Loooooooooooong way from a trillion.

That a fact? Depends on who one believes is accurate. For the sake of argument it "generates" 500 billion, still 500 billion short aren't we?

Just because previous admins ran up debt doesn't make it acceptable behavior. Your guy did it so can mine? Sort of the "oh yeah" syndrome IMO.

Extending the Bush tax cuts last Fall was estimated to cost 3.7 trillion dollars for 10 years, or on average 370 billion dollars per year.

Eliminating the Bush tax cuts for the top 2% (rich) will save 60 billion per year and that is Obama's target.

Where this gets complicated is that we were told that the Bush tax cuts were for the rich yet there seems to be a pretty big gap between 370 billion and 60 billion. I guess in a way everybody is rich!

Americans have been sold into a life of indentured servitude and do not even know it.
