This post and post #44 indicates that you have no idea what is being discussed.

No one is bemoaning the fact that Mitt can't embrace whitey.

There are two issues:

1. The double standard, or hypocrisy, regarding what Obama is doing and what the fallout would be if Mitt did it.

2. The fact that in a previous discussion, I was telling Fuzz how Obama was dividing the country. Mostly by economic (99% anyone?) and by political leanings. But also, by default mostly, by race.
He said that wasn't true, and then Obama came to the rescue with his video asking Black Americans to seperate themselves from white America by voting for him despite not knowing who the opposition was going to be.

Then you come along and think that I'm upset because Mitt can't collectively hug the white folk?

If you can't keep up with the adults we're going to have to ask you leave.

As for double standards, hypocracy etc. who are you mad at? you have defined a situation that hasn't happened then got upset about what would have happened. Sounds like you might be mad at yourself or your whitey friends for allowing yourselves to be persecuted.

Mitt can do it, the Big O can do it ... no one is stopping it. so yes if we can build a vacuum that perfectly matches what we desire in a discussion and then complain that anything outside that vacuum is wrong life is all smiley. but that's not reality. it just makes us feel better when artificially supporting our argument.

As for dividing the country and that other thread... meh they all do it. Always have, always will. Call a whaaaamblance.

I think you should take your petulant frenzy, whip it up a bit and get some followers. You think that is what the other side would do (you could be right...who knows... mitt won't test it) so you should do it too. Maybe you should do it in a cigar forum and start a silent yet active movement.

I don't think the Big O does much politically that anyone else doesn't do and really don't get too worked up when their guy, or my guy does it. *shrug*

You can't stand that we were in the middle of debating Obama's divisive measures, and he comes out with his video aimed at Americans with ONE skin color.
As if they're all lock-step with the democrats.
As if their skin color defines who they are.

Lets really play "Who's the Racist?" or maybe what group is the bigger racist.

The real racists are those that voted for Obama because they hate white people.

The other real racists are those that voted for other candidates soley on the basis that Obama is black, and they hate black people.

By shear numbers alone, what group of people is represented by greater numbers? White or black? Statisticly there has to be a greater number of white racists, period. The white people that voted for Obama doubtfully voted because they hate white people.


Pandering to a minority group is no different than Romney pandering to "rich" people on the basis that he has common ground with them.

Obama (once again whom I have a severe distaste for) pandering to blacks is the same thing. He claims a familiarity and identification with them beyond skin color although that is the obvious part. He had a "father" that wasn't present, poor upbringings, etc...(oops racist overtones there). By saying because you are black, you should vote for me is not racist alone. I think those people will turn their backs on Obama. He did nothing for them in the last four years. They don't care about Obamacare, they want a paycheck. That didn't happen.

I just want to know who the last minute democrat candidate will be. That person (should they materialize), will be the next president. I guess that kind of sounds like Romney a little actually.
