A lot of Iranians died in the 80s fighting Iraq. No wars since. The USA can't say that.

If Obama came off the course at the turn and got involved, he'd have been skewered here for that too. No win situation it seems.
In the interest of full disclosure, we armed both Iran and Iraq, much of it in an end run around congress under Prez RR.
Despite a couple of years of reading about the drum beats re Iran, I still am not fully aligned with the school of thought that war with them (or N Korea for that matter) is unavoidable. This election is a tiny step in the right direction. But the ruling council looms large above the winner of this election.
