I think macs was just saying how he felt. It's not rational or irrational anything. It's just how he feels. And there will be many others maybe the vast majority (who knows) like him. Then there are some e that are not. Everyone is different.

Shen I drink I get happy and am more inclined to be friendly towards others and more outgoing. Some get mean. Some get angry. Some get sad.

I could say drinking makes folks happy. My experience would suggest that. I'd be wrong.

As for guns I was raised around them and have my own. I have deep respect for them. My dad didn't lock them up. They were in the open. I never touched them without his permission out of respect for him and them.

When I have one in my hands I feel the same as macs describes. I don't think folks like macs or myself are a concern.

The dude in Georgia carrying while demanding to see the other dude who was carrying's permit likely is not like macs. And he's not alone. It'd not so simple issue. People are complex.

Never felt the need before the last cpl years either Drafter until a distant neighbor (1/2) mile away was accosted @5:10 in the morning outside his own garage. We live in a rural county setting that's typically pretty quiet. Sad part is once something like that happens nearby, it changes ones outlook on just how safe we feel we are going forward. I've never been one of those who believe chit like that only happens to " others"

... in what way?

Identify which liberal causes I'm a champion of.

LOL, Victor is a logical thinker. His opinions are not based on ideology.

I really don't think Vic gives a **** about either parity or being conservative or liberal. I think he pretty much has contempt and disdain towards everyone but himself.

Vic- you are welcome.
