No. I just don't like it when people bash Obama for things he isn't guilty of when there are many things that he is guilty of that we should be holding his feet to the fire.

Really people in positions like the president or a CEO of a large company there is no such thing as a true vacation. They are always ON and can never be truly out of touch or off.

Your first paragraph sounds like me :). You can prolly find me saying that almost verbatim.

Perhaps CEOs are never really on vacation and that's getting more true for common folk too with smartphones etc.

That said at the places I worked the CEOs were not gone as much as our Prezs (plural) and the optics are bad. Mr Obama gets plenty of leisure time doing non common man stuff. His fundraising is a bit much as well.

Daddy bush had fishing and Maine, Reagan was always on vacation (to the point that he was often late reacting to things like planes blowing up mid air by terrorists....days of remaining on vacation).

I think they are all ****heads for taking so much time off. If your job is that bad and stressful grit it out for 4 years and don't run again.

Take a vacation a year. Schedule it and do it (while remaining connected of course). At least pretend to be normal.

CPAP's suck. I think I would rather die in my sleep then wear that uncomfortable POS for one more night. I hat it but I keep trying to get used to it. Oh well.

My mama always tells my kids if they want the nice grandmother call their other grandmother. That said my mom and pop have traveled quite a bit before she got sick. They still travel but not as far.
