Never thought you were. But, if given only one guess as to who could conjure up such conspiracy theories I'd have to consider Rick as he can be pretty clever when need be.

Which leads me to wonder what your fog handle is? Rick has been inactive for quite sometime. But, your familiarity with him suggests you've been here longer than noted on your join date.

Lurked for 1 year before joining. I'm not Rickmaven - call your buddies at CBid HQ and confirm for yourself.

Scrubbed and/or replaced media interviews? Care to elaborate? Briefly. Online links to initial interviews are broken - new links to new interviews are in place.

Baseline? So, am I correct to assume you knew from the moment the first video hit the web this was all a hoax? You also knew that interviews would be scrubbed so you had the foresight to preserve this historic information for all of humanity?

I'm preserving it for myself. I hit the record button the first time I saw the shooting video shown on fox news. I was amazed that they actually showed it, and I was certain they would stop showing it, so I recorded it. Which some have already started doing - they cut the vid at the point of the first shot.

Elaborate, what are some of the things you didn't notice at first? That the cop seemed oblivious the the cameraman. Cops hate cameras (as do I, but the point is he did nothing to stop the cameraman which is a common occurance when cops are caught acting badly). The person videoing kept getting closer and closer, then the cop looked straight at the camera in the longer version of the video, which is not easy to find BTW, but is online. I don't have the link handy, but if I found it so can you.

Really, it seems this has been in focus for quite some time. Some agencies down here have been issuing body cams for more than a year. I don't care to be videoed any more than you like it while doing your job. I don't want anyone to agree to or allow for a norm of constant surveillance. I consider it a violation to my right to privacy. This includes the constant proliferation of highway and secondary road surveillance cameras that seem to multiply overnight. It is video intrusion. If you're not seeing that where you are, head on over to the ATL metro area and smile for the birdie, sir.

As far as the offender wearing long sleeved sweatshirt, I live in south Louisiana, I'm a LEO, it's 70 degrees here at the moment and in the last 5 minutes I have seen at least 5 people wearing sweatshirts. I on the other hand am wearing a short sleeved shirt and I'm quite warm. The body armor I'm wearing has superior insulating power.

What do you mean by fluffy-like? Like the Michelin man? Maybe the guy is just chubby, but it looks funny.

What do you think he was wearing underneath it?
possibly padding or a vest like yours? I dunno, I'm making observations. You should too - and with an open mind.

Do you believe this video looks right? The foot pounds of force of a 9 or a 40 has to be hundreds of pounds. Per shot. The guy broke his fall with his arms after several rounds supposedly hit him. It just looks staged to me.

I hope you're capable of subjectively considering what I'm saying here, but I do feel like your attitude is a bit condescending. If you want to discuss, I will, but this will be the last interrogation I'll be submitting to from you. Is this a "leg-humping" or a conversation?

Good luck with your position that it's possible to unify the "liberal media" under a small enough ceiling to even discuss a conspiracy about right wing fictions, let alone stage an elaborate hoax to prove that police officers are using unlawful force against unarmed minorities. There are too many diverse points of view and contrarians from the center to the left.

The right wing media appear to be much more cohesive and organized and able to establish a single perspective and list of "talking points" to buttress the day's agenda. On any given day, you can hear all the leading men and women media personalities as well as the politicians saying the exact same phrases, as if they are all reading from the same script.

But you gotta admit, that Holocaust conspiracy was pretty breath-taking, huh?

I think in that gap in the video the cop actually pulls off a late text mask and instead of being the cop is really Al Sharpton the skinny version though.

Yes. His current mission? To convince the world that there is still racism in America when we all know that was irradiated completely around the time Apple reverse engineered the iPhone from alien technology.

In related news I just found out that ancient astronaut theorists believe that the number of empty sarcophagus suggest the presence of the ability to teleport through time thousands of years before BC

Again, I've seen many videos of people being shot. Mostly dash cams, but others as well. Some people where shot with AR style rifles, some with 40's and some with 9mm's. If you're thinking that when someone is shot they are hurled back 10 feet, then you've seen too much television. It doesn't happen. In fact, unless you look very, very closely you rarely see any reactionary movement at all.

Just for information purposes, a Remington .223 has about 1200 foot pounds of muzzle energy, a S&W .40 about 480 and a 9mm about 380.

All that being said, no I don't find it odd at all the way the guy fell. In fact, it is pretty consistent with what I've seen.

As far as leg humping, not my style.

Thanks for the insight.

Yes, I would have expected someone shot in the back 5 times and one heart shot to totally faceplant. Especially when hit with self-defense rounds - though I'm not sure thats what they used. I could see a .223 at close range going clean through so fast that there would be less knock-down power. In fact, thats one of the reasons that caliber is not always favored in battle - less stopping power.

^ not sure if LE can use hollow point bullets.

I used to run Speer Lawman rounds, a local LE favorite that my pistol liked. It was a FMJ soft round that mushroomed to 150%.

If you think building 7 was legit you are foolish.

This shooting was terrible, but the video wasn't even known to exist until AFTER the cop was indicted. So the premise it's fake is irrelevant as he was already charged.

Exactly what we use. Expansion reduces penetration which in theory reduces the chances of a bystander being hurt by a pass through round.

There are ballistics, bullet design, caliber etc, and there is the human factor, the will to live. Take some time to listen to an interview with Bob Stash, a 30+ year veteran of the Chicago police, who has been involved in 14 gunfights. His description of his first gunfight will give some startling incite, it starts about 7:39 into the video.

The interview is conducted by Massad F. Ayoob is an internationally known firearms and self-defense instructor.

Is that the man who thought he was a woman?

For what it's worth this is not the thread that made me discount BKs thoughts on politics or most other things lol. That said I don't discount his opinion on everything I rarely do that from anyone. Is bat **** crazy is they may be they might actually be right about something that I'm not at some point.

For example I like Jif peanut butter and if bitter klinger came in and said Skippy was better I'd say I don't put much merit in what he thinks however I've never had Skippy so maybe I need to try it to make sure. I wouldn't rush right out to try it because I don't value his opinion enough to drive me but I wouldn't avoid trying it because I think is bat **** crazy. He is probably right about a couple things, a very small amount but I have no doubt he's right about some things.
