I'm pretty sure Roberts isn't pro obamacare he was just being consistent. When a judge determines a matter of law not to your liking it doesn't necessisarily mean they like that law. Despite the claims in here that he had to do some gyrations this was predictable based on legal precedent. His other ruling on the matter was as well, despite what the fringe blogosphere says.

Unfortunately you want a justice that doesn't do that, one that WILL do gyrations to meet your political agenda. There are a couple (or more) that will do that on both sides of the aisle. The court should not be predictable based on politics.

Folks that don't like the law have been harping about it being unconstitutional since day one. That's been wishful thinking not reality. The fact the court doesn't back you up shows you the reality not the contortions. To most the contortions have been obvious for some time.

Kill the law in congress if you don't like it. The end arounds are growing old, are expensive, don't work, and are doing nothing but feeding the sheep. This comming from someone who doesn't like much of the law either and wished we had a functional congress that could fix it or come up with something better.

It's not the supremes fault. It's both houses and both parties in congress. It's also the extreme take no prisoners partisan politics captures so beautifully in here much of the time.

Peace and love peace and love

Out.

I'll try to be a little less windy.....I think he went along to get along!!!! And YES politics were definitely involved, most are just trying to figure out what brand Roberts really IS. He for a second time FORCED the taxpayers
( these are the people who WORK for a living ) to provide something that is not guaranteed as an American let alone as a non working or NON CITIZEN. It may have needed " fixing " but NOT by our Federal Government.

Please, working and being an American Citizen are so yesterday. Now there is not much difference between a working American Citizen, and a non working illegal immigrant.

1. They both have a roof over their head.
2. They both have cell phones.
3. They both have cable TV
4. They both buy food in grocery stores.
5. They both drink beer.
6. They both smoke cigars.

The only real difference is one works and pays for all his own stuff, plus pays taxes so that the other one doesn't have to work, and can have everything provided to them free. Now one might live in a house, and the other an apartment. One might have a nice cell phone and the other an Obamo phone. One buys groceries with his money, the other buys stuff with food stamps. One might drink micro brew beer, and the other Budweiser. One might smoke $1,000 Gurkhas and the other a grape flavored cigar. But at the end of the day, they both go to sleep to start their day all over again. lol

We are doomed...With Obummacare finally approved by the Supreme Court, they can now start it up, and the American economy is going to collapse and millions of jobs will be lost...

Dude, come to SF. We can smoke a cigar and beat up some homeless people together.

There's always more, they're like a renewable resource here.

(ok, I lied, smoking a cigar is WAYYY harder to do in SF than find homeless to beat up. We may have to smoke in a different city first)

You should come on over. The Blue Ridge Mountains and Shenandoah Mountains are lovely this time of the year. If you are just looking for a nice vacation, come on up during the fall and take a 2 day drive down the Blue Ridge Parkway. The leaves on the trees are beautiful that time of year, and weather is perfect. There are a lot of places to just pull over, smoke a cigar and take in the view. You will never want to go back to any city. lol

Most kind of you to offer.

Virginia is a proper name for the untouched beauty of that section of the east coast. Serine and picturesque like a novel about when the world was new. I came in to the air port some where near Port Royal some months back and took an hour or so drive to a town with a forgotten name on business. I remember a tavern with a brick pizza oven and and a delightfully nubile owner. Nice place, cold beer. Quaint with a surreal quality like a Twilight Zone episode.

Myself, I take refuge on the golf cources of North Texas. If you make it out West, you are welcome chase a little white ball around with me. For no reason in particular. Cigars are on me.

Brewha, Port Royal or Front Royal?

The reason I ask is they are polar opposites of each other. Port Royal is a small town just of the Rappahannock River on the eastern end of the state, Can't think of what airport you might have flown into, except Richmond.

Front Royal is on the upper west end of the state, and is kind of the entrance to all the mountains. There you have the beginning of Skyline Drive, that takes you on down to the Blue Ridge Parkway. You have a lot of caverns out there also. In high school we use to skip school and go fishing out on the North Fork of the Shenandoah River, using hellgrammites. I swear, them things are so mean, if the fish didn't bite them, they would bite the fish. lol

One day I might have to take you up on the offer of golfing in Texas. I like to golf, but can't say I am any good at it. I do like a good tournament, where you have Captain's choice. If we can use my ball spot at least 3-4 times, I am a happy camper. lol

Funny, but after I posted that it occurred to me that sence I could not remember the town the customer was in I probably go the other town wrong too. I go on the road once or twice a month, always to some map dot. So I 'm afraid that after a few scotches they all blur together.

The site was in Winsor VA, and I came in near Virginia Beach. The last job I did in Virginia before that, like seven years ago, I believe was in Front Royal. Port Royal was in some damn pirate move the wife was watching.....
Getting old sux.

As far as golf goes it sounds like we are in the same class of play.
