I've observed that while some newbies tend to join the fray by introducing themselves, that others tend to just jump in ... I think it's a comfort thing that again, sorta relates to my favorite comparison of sitting at the front of the local store, smokin' a 'gar and shootin' the breeze ... some new customers will stick out a hand and say, 'hello, I'm Joe,' while others will just join the conversation and get around to telling you their name is Joe IF you happen to ask ... of course, there are also some who just walk on by and out the door after a little bit of eavesdropping, apparently having no time to do so or having decided the nature of the conversation and the participants is not to their taste
Same thing here. Introduce yourself, jump in, take a hike, it's all good ...
