There's plenty of cigars I actually prefer to CC's (though a couple of my top 5 were ccs).
After all these years, Melanio is still my fav goto. Padron 1926/FR and LGs are probably my two favorite higher ends. What these have in common is consistency, they are consistently great.
Every once in a while, I get a CC that blows my mind, but I like them a little fresher than most, less than 5 years... more than that, they start getting a little too weak for my liking. Obviously there are exceptions, I got a couple old ones from Buckwheat and a few other guys on here that were amazing... still a little mild for my tastes, but excellent flavor profiles.
Anyway, what I find with ccs is in a box you might find one or two great ones, the rest will be decent with a few plugged turds in there. I have to use my draw poker on ccs more than any other cigars I have.
So if you have an affinity for more mild cigars, CCs will probably be your favs, if your prefer them stronger, then probably not.
