"Also, before people start thinking you are teaching them HTML, I should point out that ( and ) are not used in tags. We use "

Sorry...I didn't realize you were using the ( ) to keep the system from hiding the code on each end of the text.

Goose ... I've have used several other BBS software, and know exactly what you are talking about. But, it just doesn't bother me as much as it seems to bother you.

And who really cares? If someone wants to be lazy and do it their way ... fine. I don't see using a couple of br's between paragraphs as being all that difficult, or time consuming. The fancy stuff is just for fun, and it excercises the brain.

And believe me ... I have taught everyone here a great deal in the previous posts. Have you ever thought that the tiny amount of users who use paragraph breaks, just might be the very same ones who wanted me to email it to them?

Now that the entire population (at least the ones who read this thread) have this information ... let's see what happens. I don't suspect everyone will get into a frenzy of the fancy stuff ... but the simple paragraph breaks are notall that hard to do ...

Besides ... I don't know about everyone else, but I like the way this forum looks.

Why would Cigarbid, in all it's uniqueness and individuality, want to go out and look like every other BB on the internet.

This place has a style all it's own ...

Wow ... this is really strange. I'm at my work computer, and my font change doesn't work here ... they are just large colored arial fonts.

At home before I left ... they were the shotgun BT and shotgunblanks BT font.

Very strange indeed, since Jimmy's still works ...

Oh ... DUH ... it's probably because my computer at work doesn't have that font installed.

That would require one of the new programs that GG7 was talking about, and I seriously don't think that is going to happen anytime soon.

I use an electronic Franklin Dictionary & Thesaurus ... ;-)

I catch half my mistakes after UPS brings me the cigars that I "won" on CBID. Just can't understand why a box of cigars is still available for $3 after being on bid for 2 weeks. The description is so alluring...and a famous martial arts actor is named in the description. Darn, that in itself should insure that they are a "great" cigar....69
