It's funny.
Our climate is in a warming trend.
But liberals need to point out things like this. Even when (if) they're expected.
And at the end of the day, nobody can say whether a warmer earth would be a good or bad thing.
I mean, will half a degree definitely be a negative? And if so, would we be equally worried if the world were heading in global Ice Age where the world was half a degree cooler?
Are we so sure that a swing in either direction is definitely bad?
But in the meantime we'll mortgage our children's future (fact) because climate change MIGHT be caused by taxable man-made actions (speculation).
The "debate" is just a smoke screen.
Nobody cares about the facts unless they're easy to understand like average temperature during a calendar year.
The earth exists.
And it exists TODAY because it has adapted over her 6,000 year existence (calm down. joke).
And species have come and gone. Not because of half a degree. Nor because of an inch change in ocean levels.
Survival of the fittest shows that living creatures and their mother earth are resilient.
Make laws to protect the environment from those who rape it. I will sing that tune every day.
But don't assume I'm a stupid lemming and tell me that my taxes will curb global climate changes and that this is a necessary thing. Because the only thing that it will definitely do is take my money. With zero guarantee that it will curb a temperature curve. And zero guarantee that if we don't it will be bad for the earth.
Rant off.
