Joel, here’s a full-on Gemini answer:
No, from a pure dollars and cents/sense standpoint. Cigars and drinks are w-a-y overpriced. And, iirc, with the renovations, the people-watching (i.e., the adjacent escalator) is no longer the same either. You can surely buy better smokes for the same prices online and do you really want to pay $18 for a pour of Weller 12?
On the other hand:
Yes, for the experience. Where else can you go to a walk-in humidor with just about every Fuente-associated cigar available for sale? And better yet, to buy HTF Casa Fuente cigars, drink a great mojito, or chose from their excellent bar selection. Smoke and drink in the company of like-minded BOTL/SOTL. It’s the experiences in life that make us richer. So go in, have a good time and close your eyes when you pay the tab.
The area of my brain that holds the Dollars and Cents/Sense thinking seems to go on vacation when I go to Vegas so I’ve gone to CF every time (...since 2011...) I’m in LV. So, yah, I’m more of an “experience” guy and while my wallet is lighter from those visits, believe my life is richer because of things like that.
Of course, ymmv, so take this with a grain of salt.
