I had one for a while. There was a few years where I was a recoil junkie.
Started with a Taurus 454, then picked up a Performance Center 460.
Then I sold the guns and dies and stuff and got a 500 and that was the end of my big bore chasing. It was fun to let other people shoot it, but that was it. I never took it out to the range by myself, and probably only pulled the trigger on 20 rounds. I didn't even get around to trying to handload for it, because it was just too ridiculous. The 454 and 460 were a little more fun but I downloaded my cartridges after a handful of full bore loads.
They're all gone now. Sticking with 357
