Don't play the semantics game.
You said "I don't care if you want to insult the Chinese".
The only reason to say that is:
A: I insulted the Chinese
or
B: I said I wanted to insult the Chinese.
Since neither is true, I am rewarded with an option to choose which reason you embraced.
So you're either stupid or a liar, but the ever present BOTH keeps pushing it's way to the front.
Reread your posts.
I already pointed it out. You remind me exactly of jr high kids who find out there's a word that sounds a lot like a word they shouldn't say, and suddenly is interested in it. If this were jr high, you'd suddenly start singing mary poppins around anyone chinese.
But no. You're not insulting them. You're just really into musicals. It's their own fault if they take offense.
That's fine. That's clearly the end goal you are aiming for with your sudden interest in mary poppins. And as I said, I don't care if you want to do that. You clearly telegraph your decision, and point out exactly what sort of person you are.
If you have any other reason for your statements, feel free to point it out.
But again. No one in this thread gave mary poppins any thought but you. No one told you you couldn't sing that song (but you were really concerned with being able to)... you created the situation. You created a false concern for the situation. You wanted to make sure we all knew that you knew it wasn't in any way related, but you still wanted to bring it up.
