mostly I was just messing with ya...
but if true, what the 'stros did was many levels above any other team. waaaay more unfair.
fwiw, sign stealing is a time honored tradition in baseball, but there is a code of honor in the crime. It's done with the eyes and the brains. One does not place a monitor in the clubhouse, fed by the centerfield camera, to watch the catcher and then compile Al Gore Rhythms or whatever you IT guys do, and then send signals to the batter either through the drum beats on a trash can or through the use of a concealed electronic buzzer in the batters uniform...well ONE does not do that but Houston did!
and this AFTER electronic communication was banned a couple of years ago. This came about 3 years, maybe 4 years ago when a human texted what he though he had deciphered to the Sox manager. Had he simply walked over and spoke it, no problem.
The Yankees may have been warned about some type of camera use, but these instances were like child's play in comparison.
And what may be the biggest crime of all in this matter is how MLB and their terrible Commish are dealing with it...and I am one of the last people on Earth that still loves the game. Recent Astro teams have been excellent too.
