I appreciate that, though I do want to clarify my point as rereading it made me feel it was more about my struggles than how the op related to my family's situation...which has probably become a common issue out there in America Land.
The assisted living/memory loss care facilities are open for business, but the restrictions now due to the virus have forced them to offer much less of what our elders had been getting from them until now.
Some situations are not as simple as stay home or be open...many industries are offering partial versions of their real functions.
I guess I've been carrying this sense of how unfair it is to our Greatest Generation after what they lived through on the other end of life, and the middle of life...looks like my feelings seeped out.
