Humidifiers will work more efficiently and last longer if you put them in an environment that is closer to your target humidity. So in essence, you want a master humidor that can fit all of your humidifiers and humidors. And around the master humidor you want at least a ten foot insulated buffer zone. And ideally, you want to dig a tunnel beneath and have the entrance in the middle of the floor of the master humidor. And naturally, you want it sided inside and out with Spanish cedar. As mine is locked (grandkids and other interlopers) I had to once confront the need of a cigar while the key was misplaced. The obvious fix was to retro fit the door with explosive bolts....
