Any ideas?
Lamy 2k?
Pilot Custom 74?
Keep in mind Japanese nibs write smaller then Western.
Lamy 2K is cool but some may be put off by bottle fill only as well as the lugs to hold the cap on.
Also 2K's are known for having a sweet spot for a smooth writing experience. Not for beginners IMHO
Custom 74 with M nib is very nice indeed! Smooth and you can use bottle or cartridge. I have one but I want the 823 which is a tad larger.
Sailor Small is smaller then 74 if I recall... Sailor nibs are not as smooth as Pilot .
I just picked up a Esterbrook Estie in cobalt, fitted with F Jowo German nib. The Estie is a really nice sized FP, I cannot say enough good things about them.
Quick cap on/off, Jowo nib, bottle or cartridge and can be found for 150-175 range.
Let me know what you got even if this is late!
