Anyone had problems with the customer service not getting back to you? Pretty new to cigar bid, just started using around February. Won a lot on a Oliva duet lotus lighter but the thing doesn’t stay lit and takes about 6 clicks to even ignite. Have sent a few messages to customer service but haven’t heard back.

Couple things:

1. Shoot a blast of compressed air into the jets,

2. Could be the butane. Cheap brands don’t work too well and can clog up the jets. Use premium butane, Xikar, as an example.

Yes. I received a bad lighter with the Fat Bottom Betty Toro deal and it don’t ignite. You can hear the gas, just no strike at the end of the push. Three emails and no reply and Iv been dealing with them since they started this site.

Have you tried refilling the lighter with hood fluid after purging, then microwaving to clear out the jets?

Probably not worth the angst, just throw it away.

Seriously thinking of leaving CigarBid. After my credit card was compromised, I quickly added my new card to my account. I'm still told to call the customer service number. I have called 3 times, staying on hold for more than an hour before hanging up each time. My email messages have gone unanswered also. My patience is wearing thin.

Since you can't even post properly and have "comprimised credit cards", I doubt if CBID will miss you if you get too impatient.
