From mid-May to about late-September, it’s too damn hot in LV to enjoy yourself. Both of our kids went to UNLV so know all too well what the weather is like in August and May.

I will be in vegas mon-fri next week. staying at the Orleans and spending most of my time at the poker tables. Any good options for a smoke at/near the Orleans?

There's a cigar lounge right inside the 4 queens casino.

Try En Fuego Cigars and Lounge on W. Sahara. We had earmarked it back in 2018 but never got there. You should call or at least Google their site to see what they offer in terms of food & drink as well as their policy on smoking in their lounge. While you’re at it, go to The Oyster Bar inside Palace Station and have their Pan Roast. Crab and Lobster is my favorite combo. Deee-licious!

Other eats recommendations would be M & M Soul Food on W. Charleston and Hot ‘n Juicy Crawfish on Spring Mountain Rd.

Is the Big Smoke still in Vegas? We could meet there just before that and attend the event.

Not a bad idea, but there’s no way I can do November 2021.

I'll second both of these..........

Best cigar lounge,Casa Fuente hands down, pricey but excellent selection and almost any whiskey you can think.of

October wins my vote........I've been there every month of the year and October is without a doubt the best Vegas weather,85 during the day and 65 at night, what's not to love

I'm laughing at the "no wives" part. Like I could ever go to Vegas and not bring my wife. HA!

Hell, I wanna bring my dog, too... but that'd be a pita.

What's the going shipping rate for freight? I could prolly make up my own UPC code, box myself up, have the guys in back load me up, sneak on a Walmart truck and get delivered to MACS house. Then I'll just hitch a ride with him.

Hey man, that's what he said. That's all I know.
And, Bucky just invoked herf rules. This mean only he or Drafter can discuss it.

Many years ago we had a fun herf in LV with attendance from across the states.
Always fun to get together and Vegas is is the place to be.
As MACS said, inside the Four Queens at Chicago Pizza, they have a great relaxing cigar lounge.

Agree. Met Whistle, Annie (Ron’s wonderful wife) and Delta there in October 2019.

Offhand I’d say the week of Oct. 9 would be good. Just about the time that Fall starts showing herself but close enough to the warmth of late Summer. Unless there’s an aberration in the weather pattern, shorts and t-shirt weather and not sweating the moment you step out of the hotel but not so cold that you have to wear a jacket.

My son lives in Reno. So if it was in Sept/Oct ... I could fly out to see him. Then he and I could zip down to Vegas before flying off to Orlando for our annual pilgrimage to Universal Studios for Halloween Horror Nights. Herfing

That sounds pretty gay.
So, it would be perfect…
