But I don’t buy too many anymore, because for the coin, I have too many others I like more.

I'll spend the coin...if...it's worth buying...AGAIN!

Crowned Heads do make a few consistently good lines... I still like the Jericho Hill and Four Kicks...most in my stash are 4-5 years old and I when they're gone, will prolly get fivers of each to see if they've changed much...when the IR expires, of course...

I gave up on chasing Perdomo several years ago, when it seemed as if they were putting out new fancy named lines every year or so...Barrel Aged...20 and 30 year Anniversary... Double Aged... Reserve... Fresco... Slow Aged...

The 10th Anniversary Champagne and 10th Anniversary Champagne Noir are definitely the consistent blends that I think DMV is referring to... and I still buy them after all these years...

Maduro 10th perdomo has been consistently stellar. They just don’t make ring guages I prefer

It does seem like they are committed to big ring gauges. I like the little perfecto in the 10th maduro. It has a weird shape, kinda like a bowling pin.

You expanded on my point. Thank you.

When I went to the store 10 years ago and bought several cigars...A Fuente WOAM, An Ashton VSG Maduro and a Padron '64 they were sublime. Bought the same trio around Christmas...guess what? It was just...like...I remembered...them tasting like. Without fail, those are what I chose to smoke for "special days"...holidays...days I really want to unwind and let my hair down. Guess what? They NEVER fail me. There are others that fill that category too. Perdomo's latest offerings...STELLAR! Montecristo Nicaragua toro...same. The Montecristo Espada Magnum Especial don't quite have the age to the lineage but they haven't disappointed yet. I have more cigars in my pocket that I'm keeping to myself right now that fit the bill as well. So, how is it that several manufacturers that enjoy high ratings, and ravings...can't deliver year after year...decade after decade? My take is that they're doing a "Hit and Run" operation on purpose. They secure fields for a short time, or buy out others that couldn't make it to market and you get what you get. They (BUY!) get some ratings in trade magazines that are known to be "on the take" and VIOLA...the rush to buy their product is on. Yet, they can't deliver because they don't own the fields, they don't control the operation and they can't maintain quality.

Understand that this pastime we enjoy, this endeavor to chase the "dragon"...this passion is the same that fuels the golf club industry, the fishing industry, the car manufacturing, the music business...if it hits it has to again. If it doesn't its a "one hit wonder". Those that can replicate the experience...pay attention...they want your business. They're trying to earn it. I actually applaud the Perdomo model. He's kept prices down, fought legislation and is willing to take a loss to bring to market the same product. He's earned my business. Each and every time I meet him, I shake his hand and tell him "THANK YOU". He's seen me enough to know why I say it. He know he has me in his pocket. He's delivered. Shouldn't all of our passions at least try...try to earn that business. Earn that dollar. Gain the respect...and shouldn't you pay it forward, pass the word and continue to purchase from them?

THAT'S where I'm coming from. Thank you for moving the ball forward bro. Aloha! (hope I earned that to use the word like I did!) and keep on being you!

“Aloha” means a lot of things but you certainly used it correctly. 🤙

I've never had a perdomo I didn't like or that had any construction issues.

But I've never had one I particularly liked.

It's been a few years maybe I should try them again.
