I have to say that so far I am fairly disappointed with Cigarbid.com. The cigars I have received have not been of the quality I anticipated, and in the most recent case the box was broken when I opened the package. Not sure I want to give this another try.

Slim...here come da judge, here come da judge...

He can't get away with slander in THIS courtroom!

But seriously, Cbid's customer service is stellar and ought to be given the chance to make good on your complaint.

Call them!

Ya need to email or call customer service if you have a problem and they'll take care of it. In over two years I've only had two returns and each one was taken care of in a timely manner.

A rash statement there Judge! It is obvious from the tone of your post you did NOT contact customer service. These folks want repeat business and they go the extra mile. Shame on you! Contact customer service, rectify your problems, and make some more bids. Lastly, if you get some smokes you have never tried and don't like them, that's on you. In that event, try the trades board.

Gentlemen,gentlemen!

Obviously our commrade has had a bad experience. You have offered him sage advice, and yet no response.

I say we cast this one back. He probably overbid on smokes that you or I would've won, and wouldn't complain about.

Do not fear, oh wronged one. The fine folks here peruse these boards and I'm sure they'll offer up a return tag and put that everlovin', cigar chompin' smile on your face. If not, it's America and with this thing called the internet...I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for!

Take two Midol...a warm bath...and eat a half-gallon of ice cream. If you still wake-up in a bitchy mood, double your Midol dosage and change your pad more frequently. Case dismissed!!!

Got a bad lighter one time and CBid replaced it and didn't even want me to return the bad one. What better service do you want? Based on their packaging, I find it hard to believe anything came in damaged.

Unfortunately I have had a disappointing intro to the site at well, and I did contace Customer Service and things were not quite made right...yet.

My first order was incomplete. It took a very long time to get the rest. Also, my first order came with a bum lighter, and though I mentioned it to them, no response on that issue.

My second order, an El Grande Humi to hold all my new cigars, was supposed to come today. Instead I got the rest of the first order and an email showing the humi is due to me on the 30th.

I like the products offered, I really like the forum, and have been happy with the cigars that came, and the customer service person was very nice, but not the response I was hoping for. I will give another chance, but I hope they make it right.

I don't know how good or bad C-bids customer service is. I have had maybe 25 shipments from them and have never had a bad one, so I've never had to call. But I think I would do that before using their forum to rag on them.

Please note that I have called and am giving them the chance to fix it. Also, based on the postings from everyone I am sure my situation is a fluke. I just thought the Judge might be entited to a little validation, particularly because I just got done sending CBID my 3rd email explaining my concerns. But I am not going to stop bidding!!!

Wow...sounds like someone went to the massage parlor and didn't get the "happy ending". My advice...rub one out and get some sleep. Better days ahead.

Great advice. What can I say...I'm a lawyer and tend to spend my day arguing. Maybe it's hard to turn it off.

I'll start rubbing, and stop complaining.

Let me send you my card. I mostly handle transactional stuff, but your neighbor has an obligation to provide a safe environment for you to cut through, especially if he knows you do it. He can shoot you for trespassing, but has to pay you if you get hurt doing it. I am glad to help. I can't turn it off.

See! I told you! That Trish, always with her nose to the ground. A real go getter, an asset in CBid's customer service department. If I wasn't already married, I'd want her to have my kids. Mother Teresa doesn't hold a candle to her.

Whew! What's a guy gotta do for a free hat?

No, really they honestly care about their business and it shows.
