In an attempt to put this thread to a final rest, I suppose I am just going to prolong it, but what the hell...
My explanatory posts are written that way so that ALL can understand them, that means INCLUDING newbies. Instead of taking an elitist vocabulary and stream-lining my posts into codified jargon, I usually pose questions and they are some times rhetorical. The point of my posts is discussion from all, not just an elitist view of "if you don't know all there is to know, then I don't want to hear your voice". As far as myself being referred to as a "narrow minded rookie", 'narrow minded' is a term reserved for those who is not tolerant of outside ideas or opinions (hmmm... who is guilty of that?) and the term rookie well, I guess starting in 1994 would make me a rookie. As far as brushing up on "common cigar news that has plagued the (blah blah blah ad nauseaum)..." I've known about the dispute over the Cohiba trademark outside of Cuba. My confusion came about because the last time I had the yellow band Dominican Cohiba, it WAS in 1994 and I didn't remember dots on the band instead of squares. The reason for this expectation is I've grown accustomed to the Cuban Esplendidos that I've smoked, which also have squares on the label.
I find it kind of funny that an elitist would misspell the word "misspell" by placing a hyphen in it (heh heh, just being a d**k). You've got some good chops wanyburger, just keep 'em off me :) Take care.
