Gentlemen,
With embarasment and shame I report to you that the box is sitting safely (contents and all) with me. I was in the process of moving the day it arrived and have since the 30th of November been vactioning, and moving. I had not even checked the board till today. I hope everyone will forgive me. It was an oversight on my part as the box was lost in a sea of boxes as the movers came to carry my stuff away. I hope all of you will forgive me! So.....who gets the box?

I'm sure the cigars are fine. They were all securely packed in zippies and packing foam. Probably a little thirsty but nothing a little time in the 'dor won't cure. Just let 'em recover a bit. Paience is a virtue. Good to hear from you Max!!!!!

Hmmmm. Receives box on 20 November. Apparently makes no attempt to search for and forward in a timely fashion after move. Totally irresponsible and seemingly a call for executive action. May I suggest two weeks of quality 'dor time and then forwarding to Tim, who was next on the list.

Just today my wife and I saw "Cast Away". EXCELLENT movie! Anyone else seen it yet? There's a FedEx box Tom Hanks carries with him; the viewer is unsure of the box's contents. I BELIEVE I KNOW WHAT WAS IN THE BOX -- our Mag 9 cigars!!

While this experience has been a little hard on most of us, I would recommend a couple of changes. First, I believe Bill is right when he suggested to send the box INSURED. He's right, it only costs about 50 cents extra and would be worth it. Secondly, how about a mandatory maximum of a 10-day turnaround. Simply, it means if you have the box, you need to send it back out to the next fellow within 10 days or risk expulsion. I for one don't care much for rules but, I believe everyone would benefit. That way, everyone would have to abide by the same rule. Doesn't sound too painful does it???........Brent

10 DAYS?????????? Are you mad, man??? With all due respect, if you're going to have a turnaround rule, make it 3 days, If'n you can't make up your mind in 3 days, you have a problem. The issue becomes one of responsibility.

I stand corrected. Yes, a 3 day turnaround would be sufficient for those truely interested in keeping things going...how about it gang?......Brent

3 days will not work as not all members are home every night. I know Tim and I both cannot abide with this...
I also know it wasn't a problem about time until 1 of our members moved and gave the group 1 day notice. This is not acceptable. I am still in favor of disbanding the group as I have heard from only 2 members wanting to proceed.

How about if we all just commit to doing the best we can, out of respect for the other members? We've all been very responsible so far. I think the interest is still there to continue, but Rob, you're our leader, and I wouldn't want to continue if you'd rather not.

CRAZY! That darn Penalty Clause rearing its ugly head!! Wait a minute, there is no penalty clause. I hope my partners in crime are all doing well out there!

I agree with Cliff, I would like the pass to continue with ALL members. We need to make up our minds and pick an order to the pass if we're going to continue...Brent
