What ya listening to ?

No music, that’s for sure.

Two neighbors to my right, cutting their lawns. We have small lots in our subdivision so given their gas powered mowers, they’re pretty noisy.

Neighbor across the street to my left is torching up his grill so there’s that too.

Yes, but satisfying. Always preferred Spider's work over brother Rob Zombie. At least over his solo career. White Zombie kicked much azz.

I might have posted this a long time ago but a site called Wolfgangs. When promoter Bill Graham died they found trucks stuffed with old posters, concert tee's, old tickets and most importantly the old tapes from the soundboards of SO many live shows from all over. You can buy Original Concert Posters and T-Shirts from back in the 60's & 70's etc and listen to tons of live shows thought lost. Some of you guys might like it:-)

Traffic - Far From Home

25 years since its release.....I don't recall ever knowing that it existed.....and I considered myself a Traffic fan....weird. It does sound more like Winwood solo stuff than Traffic, however

Iirc, it’s called “Wolfgang’s Vault.”

When I was an avid bit torrent downloaded, a lot of those Fillmore / Bill Graham promoted shows were available on the sites. Now that they’re “officially” released, they’ve been removed.

I have a bunch of Beach Boys concert posters from 1978 that I was gonna sell to them but never got around to finalizing the deal. At the same time, saw a mint condition 1970 Hendrix concert handbill selling for $1,000. I have the handbill for the Hawaii show but it’s nowhere near mint...probably more like “fair.” Would never sell it, one of my treasures from my youth.

Yeah, It was Wolfgang's Vault. Now it's just Wolfgang's. They even have an app now. Haven't tried the app yet though.

I've got a love-hate relationship with them.

I really love the first two albums.....I sorta liked the next two, but they quickly blend into that background and everything sounds the same on them.....and after that, I never recognized any relevance again.

But Money Maker and Southern Harmony were as if the Stones had been reincarnated for a few years....but I was so disappointed from Amorica onward...not awful....worse; boring

Under The Milky Way. Exceptional. Very moving song. ThumpUp
Such a good song, in fact, that it made you consider buying the whole album.
Glad I didn't. Thanks Stieg for the reinforcement on this decision.
I didn't have to experience the pain.

I agree somewhat.
I used to go see them a lot in the 90s......great live shows.
Lots of line up changes and all that since the late 90s. Saw them last at Shoreline Ampitheatre in 2005? 2006?........and they were still great.

This. Although I did like some of Chris Robinson's solo stuff. Barefoot by the Cherry Tree and Sunday Sound immediately come to mind. But, yeah talk about derivative by the end....

A little blind spider took the wheel
Navigatin' grass blades completely by feel
Got a sassy chasse, sparkle in the sun
All four small bald fat tires rockin' through the sand and burnin' up
Little dune buggy in the sand
Little blue dune buggy in my hand
Okay, I got a rubber band motor hummin' on the beach, ready for fun
Quit spinnin' that web and come out and play in the sun
Eight thimble sized cylinders to be as smooth as you please
Spider's bad ass fat old abdomen's stuck in the bucket seat
Little dune buggy in the sand
Little blue dune buggy in my hand
Squishy transmission was caught in drive
Spiderman was squintin' at the sand and the sky
Spiderwoman in the front seat, screamin' "go, go, go"
He's ridin' the accelerator down to the floor with his fuzzy little toe
Little dune buggy in the sand
Little blue dune buggy in my hand

Pure Genius. This album should be in everyone's top 10
