The Lovely Caren says she thinks the school used to be across from the skating rink and may now be a school for hearing impaired, or something like that.
St. Mary's itself on North Main Street is still there, and has been renovated and looks very nice...in the opinion of this Jewboy.

One of my faves. I believe, however, you will find that the intro is NOT live. It was recorded in the studio and added. However it was captured. it's as close to perfection as you can get.

Now I'm looking into this again, too. It seems I may be wrong. I'm not sure where I read that is was not live but I can't find anything that says that again. I HOPE I'm wrong. If so, can you imagine being at Howard Stein's Academy of Music that night and hearing that LIVE and in person? Holy Balls...that woulda been something.

Whew! All is right in the world again. ThumpUp

I found this interview with Steve Hunter that leads me to think the Intro was always performed live:

And yes, that would have been one heck of a concert memory to have been there that night.

Never heard of them.
Listened yesterday.

Or tried to listen.

Not my cup of tea.

Too much "twang".

If you like twang that's fine. I hear it may have been the reason Aaron Hernandez was taunted and decided to kill himself.

Greatest hits of the reverend, Al Green. Got this great gig volunteering at a drug take-back event and scored a lot of good scripts, even though some are technically "expired." Nothing like The Reverend with a nice Hennessy VSOP Cognac, a couple of percodans. Smoking a ripe Fuente Opus X. Sitting on the deck with the spring peepers peeping and the smooth soul that is Al. Spring is in the air!
