Brought a bottle of RR to the shpo for their Christmas party last time home in Michigan, fellas loved it.

Last night...cpl pours from a freshly cracked bottle of Old Fitz 1920 Prohibition

I'm not a Jim Beam label fan either but do enjoy some of their other offerings to include Basil Hayden, Knob Creek and Baker's.

I was gifted a bottle of Beam's Distiller’s Masterpiece earlier this year will admit that I do enjoy an occasional pour from that bottle. It has a little of an edge to it but believe the sherry cask adds positive notes to the offering.

I personally would not pay msrp for a bottle but under the circumstance glad it is presently in the rotation.

Just got my free tickets to the first Bourbon Live of 2018....put on by Big Red liquors here in IN. If we get there early enough my wife and I will have an opportunity to purchase (1) bottle per person from the list below. We're definitely wanting to get our hands on a bottle of ETL, just not sure about the second pick ( should we be so lucky ) but leaning toward the Thomas H Handy.
What would yous guys recommend? Those highlighted Blue we have @ least one bottle. Virtually none of the others have I tried.

Is the W.L. Weller actually William Larue Weller? If so, that would be my first pick followed by the Four Roses LE. I would take both of these over the ETL.

It was indeed and gone by the tine I got to pick...there were only three available. All of the BTAC' were gone as well as the Four Roses (which was $159 ) So my bride and I settled for 2 bottles of ETL. They also had a buy three and take an additional 20% off. So we went with three OF 1920 which was already @ $45 with discount they were $36 before tax.
They also had 50% off for this event on " store picks " so we decided to try Wild Turkey Kentucky Spirit Single barrel for $25. They also had a cool little box of (5) 375ml bottles of Buffalo Trace Single Barrels that were selected from the same rick from the same warehouse in consecutive order / numbers ( 38-42 ) kind of an experimental thing to show enthusiasts how much different the same juice put into different barrels...aged the same amount of time and in the exact same area can affect the profile.
