Presently, Bogle Old Vine Zin. I'm normally not a big Zin fan but the Bogle Old Vine Zin is probably one of the better $11-$12 bottles available, IMHO.

I have just added Bogle Essential Red to the rotation. It is an Old Vine blend made from Zin, Syrah,Cab Sauvignon and Petite Sirah. It can be had for around $10 a bottle and I would recommend you grape lovers give it a try.

A NEW wine for seniors
Clare Valley vintners in south Australia, which primarily produce Pinot Blanc, Pinot Noir and Pinot Grigio wines,
have developed a new hybrid grape that acts as an anti-diuretic . It is expected to reduce the number of trips older people have to make to the bathroom at night. The new wine will be marketed as

Love me some old vines zin. If you ever see St Francis Pagani vineyards buy it. The vines are some of the oldest planted in the region (over 110 years) and the wine is intense.

Having Gumdale Reserve Shiraz tonight.

Schlid Shiraz tonight. Deadeye, the St Francis you mentioned is great. Though different I would suggest trying Seghesio Home Ranch for a treat. The vines are also about 110 years old. Burner, you are right, for an everyday Zin Bogle old vine is great. In the same price range I would suggest trying OVZ Zin.
