So I went back home. Best practice is to knock back a couple shots of bourbon as soon as the phone rings. -Protects you from having to go in. -You get two shots of bourbon. |

Brought camper home today.
Fits in the new driveway perfectly. Not an inch to spare. Probably not gonna be able to get it in in the dark. Or when I'm tired. Or most of my future attempts. But I got it in on the first try and I'm happy for now.
Got the tub and toilet out, pulled up the floor, and removed part of a wall. Gotta figure out how to disassemble the vanity before I can do much else. |

DrafterX wrote:I thought he was talking about his home. .. Nope. Still with this basket case camper. So much rot, yet the structure (repaired) is sound. And it was free, so I'm only paying routine annual camper costs, no loan. Not that it makes it much more affordable. Started at the front on my overhaul. Didn't finish the middle but have the parts. Starting on the back (bathroom) and think I might say forget the shower, just make that space the laundry storage spot. Floor is totally rotten. Supports are gone. Might be able to get one crossbeam in with the trailer still standing, but it won't be easy. It's a major problem and sacrificing the tub will make it easier. |
