what did russian meddling accomplish?

TG, I think there is another possibility. Putin wins every time NATO becomes less stable. To say we know why Trump is doing what he is with NATO is pure conjecture. You may be right, but just as easily you may be wrong. I do agree that bias does drive our opinions. I have absolutly no facts to prove my possibility. It is just a thought to consider.

So if I intended to go fast, but my POS car could only muster 55mph, should I be arrested?

Or if I wanted to rape you but suffered from premature ejaculation, would you find me guilty?

Asking for a friend.

You can't even define "meddles", so how can we answer.

In words you'll understand: It depends on what the definition of the word "is" is.

He made clear statements re: about Putin vs NATO.

And since the NATO stuff, he has continued to rant against our closest allies in the world while cozying up to yet another brutal dictator.

The question I ask myself instead of trying to find a way to make it sound different to fit an agenda is: who benefits from these words and actions? I can't find where it is vague enough to blame bias.

That said, you may decide you support those politics, I don't.

The USA never has either.

Or, you can ask yourself what speaks louder: words or actions?

America's citizenry have become meek and soft and easily offended by words.
Don't let that become our Nation's MO.

Not sure about that source, but found one that discusses a political scientist's data base that tracks US efforts to sway elections ...color me uninformed... it's happened a buncha times since the 50's-70's when we were doing that stuff fighting the spread of communism...and we seem to be the world leaders in this "art"

http://www.latimes.com/nation/la-na-us-intervention-foreign-elections-20161213-story.html

A lot of those past efforts were out in the open, supporting a pro-US democratic candidate over a hostile authoritarian leader. Some were covert, especially against authoritarian govts with dictatorial regimes...all to gain pro-democracy, pro-US leadership in other countries...

Messing with Israel's elections by Obama was considered by many to be a bridge too far. Not sure when Netanyahu came to the US, ignored the President, and addressed Congress, including disparaging remarks about our POTUS. Was election meddling payback for that...or for Israel spying (Pollard) on US and stealing confidential info?

So, is meddling in another nation's elections no longer OK, even if it results in pro-democracy, pro-US regimes, and even if done openly?

How about what Trump did when he said UK PM May blew it with her Brexit Plan, and that a foreign minister, Johnson, would make a good PM?

Should we accept interference in our elections by outside nations? NK, Iran, China, Mexico?

You actually believe your own Trump-apologist version/crap. Creepy.

Trump inhumanely enforced a law, that's right, no president did it before because of the obvious and horrible repercussions, so he gave the go-ahead that separated families with the expressed intention of making examples out of them.

Hes pretty clear about this NOW, he did it to send a message. I half wonder if the chaos still surrounding their being reunited wasnt premeditated.
But pretty sure Trump doesnt premeditate stuff...so

Next you think he deserves points for an executive order that bans it in the future? Hm, thats like saying stab someone, put a bandage on it and you've actually done a very good deed.

I'm still trying to understand how "separating" children from parents of illegal immigrants is so horribly wrong, and why those same parents bear no responsibility for committing a crime with their children in tow.

In CA there's a law for that... it's 273A(A) child endangerment. Guess what happens when the parents are arrested?
