These mark the alleged Jesus family tomb.

Turn the v-shaped one upside down (to form a v) and it could represent the chalice, or Mary's womb. Which is, otherwise know as, the Holy Grail (according to the Da Vinci Code)

Or even if you leave it as it is, it could represent the .....mmmm.....entrance to the womb.

Call this far fetched, but a great deal of gothic architecture had vaginal/clitoral features to their archways.

Since I posted this, I read several other theories.......could be "Alpha" and "Omega", could be an upward pointed fish image.
