I was just informed by the wife that we are taking a 4 day trip to the Keys for a wedding in May. Any suggestions on cigar shops?

Well Bud,if I was traveling to florida and had a chance to slip into Little havana for a bit.I would have to stop by the La Luna factory and pick up a chest or two of the soon but not yet released LL African Fuerte. Then when I got home I would have to send all of my friends here at cbid a sample. But thats just me.LOL.Have a nice trip.Jim

I hear that the La Gloria factory is in south FL. They make some good smokes. Watch out for fake Cubans, I was in Marco Island couple years ago and it seemed everyone was dealing fakes.

I'm fully in favor of jjohnson28' suggestion. Sounds reasonable to me.

I go to Marco every year!...the inlaws have a time share at the Eagles Nest. Nice place, and a very relaxing place. I don't look to buy Cubans in the US, way to many fakes. I'm happy with the Nics and Honds.

If heading through Key Largo stop at the Island Smoke Shop. They are the guys that make the "El Original" I haven't had one yet, but a sampler pack is on its way. Supposed to be very good. In Key West, there are a few shops on or just off of Duval Street with amazing selections. Have one at Captain Tony's for me!

Definately having "one" at Capt. Tony's...it's a regular hangout for our friend who's getting married. We will be driving from Ft. Lauderdale so I will keep my eyes open, thanks.

I would suggest not buying cigars in Key West. I used to live there, and just went back for a week last month. You have to understand that Key West is a seller's market -- prices are high, and you have to make sure that you are really buying what the band says.
