I got this pic off a web site for Combat Photo Journalists... this one was released for public... the site has over 49,000 pics taken by combat come just covering Operation Iraqi Freedom...it also has every other military conflict the United States has been in Including Somolia and "Blackhawk Down" but its a military web site and restricted to public admittance... Great site though!!!

Happy Memorial Day ALL!!!!!!!

Beautiful!!!!!!!!!!! Having broken the barrier in an F-4Phantom II, it makes me think back to those fun days with pride. Of course I was the RIO not the pilot, but still very much a part of the entire thing.

The Phantom was an ugly, mean but powerful fighting machine. One of the most versitile of all fighter/bombers ever delievered to the Fleet. Whoops, sorry USAF as well!

Question: When you are in the bird and hit sonic speed, do you hear/feel the sonic wave?
