I have probably seen 500 boxes sold on CB alone in the past 6 months, not counting what is sold on the CI website.

SO HOW CAN THESE BE LIMITED TO ONLY 500 BOXES IF SO MANY ARE BEING SOLD ?????

LOL. Same observation for cupidos and all the other "limited" production items. At least when Fuente says limited, they really mean it.

Often wondered about that... I purchased 2 boxes some time ago (don't ask why). I assumed that with that purchase that I controlled 1/2 of 1 percent of the ENTIRE amount in the WHOLE WORLD!!!!!! I thought that if I could just keep buying them up slowly I would eventually control the market and then resell them for a huge profit!!

Bud451 is correct ... they are only talking about each time it is released. They don't mean that only 500 boxes are made, and that's it ...

As fars as Cupido goes ... it's only the Toro Negro that are limited to 200 boxes per month that are made for the entire global market.

Lets be honest ACID should not even be called a cigar just like a beverage with an umbrella should not be considered a real drink. They remins me of the skateboard kids who smoke clove sticks because they think it is cool. Hey if you like a cigar smoke one if you have to have a fu fu smell with yours maybe you could find another past time. Just my take on ACID

Intel, I've had Acids that burn and draw WAY better than many top notch sticks......as for the taste, not bad, but I like them in a cigar-hating environment. People do bitch at local watering holes near as much had I been smoking a Fuente.

To me Def Sea is a Pimp Stick with aromatics. Hey I have had some non smokers even say they liked the aroma - Go figure??

A Good Cigar is called a Cigar. If you do not like ACIDS then they are other brands that are for you. I happen to like Def Sea in any Environment. rain Sleet Snow Hail, I will smoke my Def Sea with the best of emmm and I do not care what others think... Now I will go take my meds and then smoke my Def Sea 🙂

Wasn't there an original 500 boxes made and they sold pretty well, so they made more just for CI?

I have gotten a 5 pack that had an extra CI thin band in addition to the Acid band.

If this is true, then I managed to salvage one of the orginials from my mouching buddies and it's still in the 'acidor'.

Also, if I recall right, there was a bit of a foot cut on the CI versions and no foot cut on the originals.

Just an observation...
