I had one tonite and I found them to be an okay cigar but a bit on the rough side as far as smoothness goes. Med-full in strength. I got a 5pack and that will all I'm getting,so bid away. X

X - How long did you have them sleeping before you fired em up? Just curious 🙂

I'm glad someone else thought it was a bit rough. I figured it was just that they needed a nice, long nap before trying again. Maybe I will pull one out again and see what 2 months do to them.

I thought that they were a little on the mild to medium site ... and found no roughness to them at all.

... it just goes to show you how tastes can differ, and how sujective those tastes can be ...

I agree with Slim, milder to medium strength, but they tend to be uneven in burn and smoothness! An ok yard smoke, or something to give to the unsuspecting cigar mooch who might be impressed that , "Emerson Fittapaldi developed this cigar....my oh my"!

they are way better than just a yard smoke (unless you are rich) ... the cost prohibits that, and I can think of a lot more cigars just for handing out to 'moochers' ...

Personally ... I still think they are a pretty darn good cigar!

I guess I have to agree with you Slim, but I did win a 5 pack for 8 bucks, and have never bought them since. Just looked up the price (I was wrong, so don't bitch slap/slim slap me) and would not give anymore for moochers but still maybe in the yard. I am rich only in happiness (LOL)!

$8 for a 5-pack of the Trophy'?!?

... you got a deal ... I paid $1 over CI retail when I bid on them ... hehehe!

The reason I rated them Medium-full in strength,is cause I got a little buzz off of it,so go figure.
Billy,I had them resting about a month. I'll let the rest nap awhile, and give them another whirl. X

I just hope they burn more evenly after some rest. I paid $19 for a 5er, so I undercut CI by $2. You can get much better cigars for that price, but they do look cool!

I just won a fiver and will have to put em down for awhile when they get here. Don't have a problem doing that just bought another 100 qt cooler...

Thanks for the Information X.

Won a box a couple of weeks ago. Have smoked about 8 and found them to be a reasonably medium smoke. Some were pretty smooth and a few were just a little harsh. They all had a pretty firm draw. Had a bigger problem with the wrappers burning at different speeds causing some uneven burn. Eventually evened out. The rest are napping for a while in one of my humidors. It is a cool looking cigar and makes a nice presentation when giving them out. Would never make my "daily" smoke list and I agree with Slim that they are a little pricey for a lawn mowing smoke.

Just my 2 cents worth...

If Slim doesn't hush, I'll never get to try them. 🙂
