You know, I’ve heard comments about people “burning their fingers” on the nubs of great gars - but I thought it was just a saying..... Well, now I have the burn marks to prove that it isn’t...

From the first puff I knew it was something special... actually... from the cut I knew it was special... the burn on this Clasico Maduro was perfect the whole way down. I’ve seen very few sticks that could rival this perfect construction. The draw was easy but not loose, and the taste! It got more and more flavorful after each puff without ever overpowering. Even when I got down to the end, it was loading my palate with slightly sweet, rich flavor and no harshness. At the end, I paused, looked at the perfect 3 inch ash and exclaimed, “You’re the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen!” My wife looked at me and asked “ Are you talking to me or your cigar??” I looked at her... looked at the Bucanero... and whispered, “ I’m talking to you, my lovely Nicaraguan beauty...”

As I finally put my baby to rest, a tear ran down my cheek
