I was talking to Chuck Yeager at the EAA airshow in Oshkosh Wisconsin a few years back when an F-15 went vertical and floated stationary few about 10 seconds on its thrust. I said, "Thats gotta be a blast", his reply, "Yeah, but you don't want to know how many tax dollars he just spent". I laughed.
