It finally happened, got my first speeding ticket. Thank God he clocked me while I was slowing down on the exit ramp, 81 mph in a 65. But Brown county's finest did have a sense of humor. I said it was my first ticket....he said "It sure is"...lol. This pic was taken at Corse Ducati in Saukville, WI. Pretty site, isn't it?

I have seen the bikes inside. As a matter of fact, the orange '73 Ducati 750 Sport that was up on the pedistal is my father's. He restored it from a rusty wreck. He just finished restoring a '64 Ducati 250 Mach 1. Maybe that one will be the next on the pedistal.

With a cycle like that, you gotta watch out for people like me. Attention attractors......Great bikes

In jest of course, I've never run from the police (in a vehical 🙂 on foot a couple of times, and always successfully hehehe, nothing felonious, teenage mischief...

I once outran 6 officers in one run. I had an unlicsensed suzuki Katana. I knew the backroads, as well as they did, got far enough ahead of them to get off road behind a locked gate, into the local oilfields. Had to call a friend to bring a trailer so I could get the bike home. I had to sell the bike, before I tagged it, so they didn't ever find out who they were chasing. Bummer huh. You did the right thing stopping and paying the ticket.
