I've heard this term thrown around a lot recently.

For those who don't know, a "puro" is a cigar made entirely out of leaf from one place.

For example, all Cubans are puros, meaning the filler, binder, and leaf all come from the same place, Cuba. (though for some, just the filler has to be from one place to be considered a puro)

What are some non-Cuban puros out there on the market?

My favorite has to be the Breton Corojo Vintage Robusto. It's a Dominican Puro. Wish CBID or CI carried them

Yeah, Ramone Alones uses wrappers grown (supposedly) a mile down the road from where the grow the Opus X wrappers. And they are reminicent, but are they as good? (shaking magic 8 ball) "my sources say no". Don't get me wrong, the regular line of Padron are some of the best gars going, and very tasty, good deal. But the 1926s are grown there too, right? You can't beat a good PAM!!

I believe Puros Indios and I think the Cusano Corojo (in my opinion an outstanding cigar, especially with some age on it) are both "puros."
