Got your attention? I hate the fact that Joe Torre is the manager of the Yankees. Steinbrenners team has historically been the epitome of NO CLASS, but their current manager brings great respect and class in addition to his skills as a skipper. It was much easier to hate the Bronx Bombers when they had ZERO class. Torre ruins that. In fact, I think that if it were not for Al Davis' Oakland Raiders, then the Yankees would be the organization with the least class in professional sports! This is fact, not opinion...

Maybe they would fall in behind the Baltimore Ravens and LA/Oakland/Irwindale Nomadic Raders! The two things that bring style and class to the Yankees would be Joe Torre and the traditional Yankee Pinstripes! And of course the great players that wore the Yankee uniforms in the past. Ruth, Gehrig, Mantle, Maris, DiMaggio, Berra, etc!!!!! I also dislike Steinbrenner, but there are far more owners in sports world that I dislike more than George! Charlie

As a die hard Yankees fan, I don't really care for Georgie either... At least he does what he can to bring a in competitive team each year. I think a lot of the hate for the Yankees can be better translated as jealosy!

I've never questioned George's ability to field a talented team. Only his lack of class in doing so. And as a Red Sox fan, I can tell you with 100% certainty that jelousy is indeed a part of the reason we hate the Yankees. Bucky Dent is the other part...

I grew up a yankee's fan and still like them now, however i agree with the first to worst class of the yankee's but it is of no comparison to my fav football team. The Dallas Cowboys used to be the classiest team in fotball (The Tom Landry era, and now are the Dallas Fugitives who wont to the no huddle offense because know felons can't congrigate together.

As a life long Phillies/Eagles/Flyers fan, I've always hated all NY sports teams. The only time I root for a NY team is when they play the Cowboys. A perfect year
would be Yanks & Mets in last place along with the Cowboys/Jets/Rangers/Islanders with the Giants finishing next to last. As for the NBA who cares.

I have to agree that the Tom Landry era of Cowboy football made them Americas Team. Now, they're just a bunch of drug addict, hip-hopping, jewelry wearing, gun-totin', live-for-today thugs. Hey, I guess they are still America's Team...!
